On the 19th of August Manuel Alba Rios, an experienced kayaker from Ceuta Spain, came to Lesvos island with the goal of circumventing the entire island in 14 days. After researching and creating a concise plan that previous winter and through the contact we had regarding his trip plans, weather conditions, etc., he succeeded in completing his journey and along the way made wonderful friendships, memories and photographs. Within the 14 days Manuel was here visiting, we had a chance to learn about Manuel's hometown, his amazing ability to blend into his surroundings, his impressive orgazination skills and of course his great humour. He even succeeded in getting an article written about his journey on the front page of our local newspaper "Empros"(click here)!!We were very happy to welcome him and hope he will visit us again in the future...
